NW Washington

It was the first week in July. An absolutely beautiful day, so we took the motorcycle up to Johnston's Observatory to hike the Boundary Trail. The air was cool, we had jackets and gloves on. The views of Mt. St. Helens were spectacular, and changed as we walked along the trail. Too bad so many people don't take the time to walk out a bit, to look at the mountain under the silent sky. Saw a herd of elk down in the valley below.
